The Harry J. Lloyd Charitable Trust has completed its melanoma research granting solicitation process.
As part of the Trust’s limited life organizational design, the process of soliciting for melanoma research grants which started in 2004 has concluded.
Thank you to all of our former and current researchers and research institutions. Even though our funding has completed, we look forward with anticipation to continued breakthroughs in melanoma cancer research.
Since 2004 The Harry J. Lloyd Charitable Trust granted 144 melanoma research grants totaling $17,972,631.
Former recipients of Lloyd Trust melanoma grants have conducted research around the world in countries including Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America. With a special focus on screening and prevention, most individual grants do not exceed $125,000 per year.
